Sober life, ADHD neuro-minority

Romy is an advocate of sober life and ADHD awareness. We live in a world where drinking alcohol is absolutely normal, or even celebrated. Romy is a role model when it comes to choosing an alcohol-free sober life. Although she did not experience alcoholism herself, she questioned the norm early on and found alcohol to be a quick short-cut and a temporary solution to a bigger societal problem: numbing our neurodiversity. Accepting the diverse beauty of our brains is a strength. In this conversation, I learnt about neuro-minority and how ADHD awareness, along with representation, can help address basic social challenges like addiction!
