Trying hard to fit in, corporate success followed by burnout, female empowerment

Since centuries women have been socially conditioned to have extreme outward beauty standards and we are paying the price now. Poor body image has spiralled down to collective mental health issues, inauthentic body fixes & unfulfilling relationships. It’s high time that we see our bodies for the miracles it performs and not just for outward (unreal) standards. It’s high time we embrace diverse definitions of beauty and empower our soul to see the body as a temple.

My next guest, Anne-Claire empowers women through body painting. She helps any generation women remember how beautiful they are by unleashing their inner goddess. Her process starts with the act of painting Abstract Art on canvas. The canvas serves as backdrop for her models, which are never models, but real women who want to celebrate their bodies. She paints them in the same style as her backdrop and lets the body blend in. The final step in the process is photographing the models in front of her artwork, tricking the eye as to where the body ends and the canvas begins. These photographic art works are being enjoyed by her clients and serve a bigger purpose - empower our self- image.

An extra-ordinary conversation that helped me embrace self-care for my body as a non-negotiable ritual.
